NSW: Brogden flags more privately run prisons=2
Mr BROGDEN says under a coalition government there'll be no periodic detention forserious first time offenders such as paedophiles, rapists and people convicted of robberyand break and enter.
It'll also be harder to get unescorted day release and there will be higher penaltiesfor offenders who fail to turn up to periodic detention.
Mr BROGDEN also says he'll ban all gang-style haircuts in prison to remove one formof gang identification.
